- Pipe stakes should be chained around the bottom before being loaded.
- If the pipe is stacked lower than the top of the pipe stakes, it is a good idea to chain around the top also.
- If your load is preloaded, a 2″ portable strap may be used around the bottom of the pipe stakes in place of the chain since you will not be able to bind the chain a with ratchet binder
